Fund Description
The investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to two times the inverse (-2x) of the daily performance of the Russell 3000® Index. The fund invests in derivatives that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should have similar daily return characteristics as two times the inverse (-2x) of the daily return of the index. The index offers investors access to the broad U.S. equity universe representing approximately 98% of the U.S. market. The index is designed to be a comprehensive representation of the investable U.S. equity market and its segments. The fund is non-diversified.
