Fund Description
The investment seeks daily investment results that correspond to three times the inverse (-3x) of the daily performance of the Dow Jones Credit Suisse 10-Year Inflation Breakeven Index. The fund invests in fixed income securities and derivatives that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should have similar daily return characteristics as three times the inverse (-3x) of the daily return of the index. The index tracks the performance of long positions in the most recently issued 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) bond and duration-adjusted short positions in U.S. Treasury notes of the closest maturity. The fund is non-diversified.
