Fund Description

The investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to the inverse (-1x) of the daily performance of the Dow Jones Credit Suisse 30-Year Inflation Breakeven Index. The fund invests in fixed income securities and derivatives that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should have similar daily return characteristics as the inverse of the daily return of the index. The index tracks the performance of long positions in the most recently issued 30-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) bond and duration-adjusted short positions in U.S. Treasury bonds of the closest maturity. It is non-diversified.
