Summary

The investment seeks capital appreciation; income is a secondary consideration. The fund normally invests in a combination of ING mutual funds sub-advised by Franklin Advisers, Inc., Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC, or Templeton Global Advisors Limited on a fixed-percentage basis. These underlying funds, in turn, invest primarily in U.S. and foreign equity securities and, to a lesser extent, debt instruments and money market securities. The sub-adviser makes equal allocations (approximately 33.3%) of its assets to the following three underlying funds: ING Franklin Income Portfolio; ING Franklin Mutual Shares Portfolio; and ING Templeton Global Growth Portfolio.
