Says Raymond James: “The target capital structure for the fund is set at 50 to 75 percent in equities, including convertible securities, up to 50 percent in highly rated and U.S. government debt, and up to 20 percent in junk bonds. Up to 35 percent of the fund may be invested in securities of non-U.S. companies.” The fund looks for attractively priced stocks and generally favors safety in its bonds.
