The investment seeks income plus long-term capital growth. The fund invests in a combination of equity securities and debt securities. The Adviser expects to achieve long-term capital growth by purchasing equity securities that appreciate in value. The equity securities in which the fund invests primarily are income-producing and may include common stock, preferred stock, securities convertible into common stock, or securities or other instruments the price of which is linked to the value of common stock. It invests 50%-90% of its assets in equity securities and 10%-50% in debt securities.
