Summary
The investment seeks to provide capital appreciation and income. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the equity securities of issuers located in China or that are economically tied to China. The equity securities in which the fund invests include common stock, preferred stocks, depositary receipts and convertible securities. Depositary receipts are generally issued by a bank or trust company and evidence ownership of underlying foreign securities.
