Summary

The investment seeks a high level of income consistent with preservation of capital. Under normal conditions, the fund pursues its investment objective by investing at least 65% of its net assets in investment grade debt securities including Securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government; Debt securities of U.S. issuers; Debt securities of non-U.S. issuers that are denominated in U.S. dollars; Mortgage-backed and other asset-backed securities; and Inflation-linked investments. In addition, the fund may invest in derivatives. Currently, it expects to invest in derivatives consisting principally of futures, forwards, options, and swaps.
