The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowing for investment purposes) in companies located in emerging market countries, including frontier market countries. It invests a majority of its net assets in the common stock of small- and mid-sized companies with market capitalizations under $5 billion at the time of investment.
