Summary

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund will invest, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowing for investment purposes) in equity securities of issuers located in emerging markets countries, which are generally defined as countries that may be represented in a market index such as the MSCI Emerging Markets Index or having per capita income in the low to middle ranges, as determined by the World Bank. To diversify its investments, the fund invests primarily in securities of issuers located in at least three foreign countries.
