The investment seeks to maximize capital appreciation. The fund uses a growth style of investment in equity securities, including common and preferred stocks, American Depositary Receipts and Global Depositary Receipts, and in equity-convertible securities, such as warrants, rights and options. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests substantially all (no less than 80%) of its net assets (plus the amount of borrowings for investment purposes) in small capitalization emerging markets companies. It is non-diversified.
