The investment seeks total return through current income and capital appreciation. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in energy infrastructure master limited partnership ("MLP") investments. It intends to concentrate its investments in the energy sector, with a focus on "midstream" energy infrastructure MLPs. The fund may also invest in "upstream" and "downstream" MLPs. Upstream MLPs are primarily engaged in the exploration, recovery, development and production of crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. It is non-diversified.
