The fund invests primarily in equity securities from developed countries included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Europe, Australasia and Far East (EAFE) Value Index (net of foreign withholding taxes). It typically does not invest in U.S. companies. The fund's sector weightings generally approximate those of the MSCI EAFE Value Index. In choosing stocks, the fund emphasizes those that are ranked as undervalued according to the proprietary research of the adviser while underweighting or avoiding those that appear overvalued.
