The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally (before fees and expenses) to the total return of the Russell Fundamental Developed ex-U.S. Small Company Index. The fund invests at least 90% of its net assets in stocks included in the index. The index measures the performance of the small company size segment by fundamental overall company scores, which are created using as the universe the companies in the Russell Developed ex-U.S. Index. It also may invest in derivatives, principally futures contracts, and lend its securities to minimize the gap in performance that exists between any index fund and its corresponding index.
