The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of borrowings, if any, for investment purposes) in small-capitalization companies (currently considered by the sub-adviser to be those with market capitalizations, based on the number of shares readily available in the market, of $4 billion or less at the time of investment) that it believes offer the potential for capital appreciation. It primarily invests in equity securities of small-cap companies located outside the United States.
