Summary
The investment seeks current income and, secondarily, capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the securities of issuers principally engaged in the real estate industry and other real estate-related investments. It will invest in both equity and debt securities. A majority of the REITs in which the fund invests are generally considered by the Adviser to be small- and mid-cap companies. The fund may invest up to 30% of its net assets in non-investment grade securities including non-investment grade preferred stocks and convertible preferred securities and non-investment grade debt securities.
