The fund normally invests at least 90% of net assets in commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities; debt securities of real estate entities; equity securities of entities whose primary assets are mortgage loans or commercial or residential mortgage-backed securities; preferred stock of real estate investment trusts; U.S. government securities; cash equivalents; and related futures and options. It normally invests at least 80% of the assets in real estate related investments of all types.
