Summary
The investment seeks a high level of current income consistent with capital preservation. To pursue its goal, the fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in a diversified portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated, below investment grade debt securities (commonly called "junk bonds") and floating rate senior secured loans issued by U.S. and foreign corporations, partnerships, and other business entities ("High Yield Securities"). Although it may invest in securities of any maturity, the fund normally seeks to maintain a weighted average portfolio duration of three years or less.
