Summary
The investment seeks high current income. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in high yield corporate bonds, debentures and notes. High yield securities, commonly known as "junk bonds," are those rated below investment grade (that is, securities rated below the Baa/BBB categories) or, if unrated, determined to be of comparable credit quality by the subadviser. The fund may invest up to 40% of its assets in fixed income securities issued by foreign companies, including those in emerging market countries and may invest in fixed income securities denominated either in U.S. dollars or foreign currencies.
