The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities whose interest is free from federal income taxes, including the federal alternative minimum tax. It may invest in municipal securities rated in any rating category, including defaulted securities. The fund does not necessarily focus its investments in a particular state and will not invest more than 25% of its assets in municipal securities of any one state or territory.
