The investment seeks a high level of income exempt from federal income tax. Under normal conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in municipal bonds that pay interest exempt from federal income tax. It invests a substantial portion of its assets in lower rated municipal bonds (commonly referred to as "below investment grade," "high yield," or "junk" bonds). The fund's dollar-weighted average maturity generally is expected to be between ten and twenty-five years, but will vary with market conditions. It is non-diversified.
