Summary
The investment seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of stocks issued by mid-sized companies located in India. The fund employs a "passive management" -or indexing -investment approach by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the common stocks included in the CNX Midcap Index. It will seek to replicate the index precisely, using the identical weightings of individual stocks as the index uses, and will not just invest in a representative sample of the index. The CNX Midcap Index is maintained by a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India, and is completely independent of the fund.
