The investment seeks long-term appreciation of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the equity securities of companies tied economically to India. The advisor considers qualifying investments to be in companies that are listed on an Indian exchange, that have at least 50% of their assets in India, or that derive at least 50% of their revenues or profits from goods produced or sold, investments made, or services performed in India. It may invest a large percentage of its assets in a few sectors, including financials, consumer discretionary, industrials, consumer staples, materials and information technology. The fund is non-diversified.
