Summary

The investment seeks maximum total return, consistent with prudent investment management. The fund normally invests in derivatives providing long exposure to Enhanced RAFIĀ® 1000 and short exposure to the S&P 500 Index (the "S&P 500"), backed by a diversified portfolio of short and intermediate maturity Fixed Income Instruments. "Fixed Income Instruments" include bonds, debt securities and other similar instruments issued by various U.S. and non-U.S. public- or private-sector entities. It may invest in common stocks, options, futures, options on futures and swaps to gain long exposure to Enhanced RAFIĀ® 1000 and short exposure to the S&P 500.
