The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in common and/or preferred stocks of U.S. companies. It invests at least 65% of its net assets in such stocks issued by companies with large market capitalizations (over $5 billion) at the time of purchase and up to 35% of its total assets in companies with small- to mid-sized market capitalizations.
