The investment seeks to provide long-term after-tax growth of capital through tax-sensitive participation in a broadly diversified portfolio of U.S. equity securities. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes (measured at the time of purchase) ("Net Assets") in equity investments in U.S. issuers, including foreign issuers that are traded in the United States. It will seek to maintain risk, style, capitalization and industry characteristics similar to the Russell 3000® Index.
