The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of large capitalization U.S. companies. It normally invests at least 80% of net assets plus borrowings in equity securities of large capitalization companies. The fund considers a company to be a large capitalization company if the company's capitalization is equal to or greater than the top 60% of the companies that comprise the Russell 1000 Index. The fund may invest up to 20% of assets in foreign securities, including American Depositary Receipts.
