Summary

The investment seeks investment results that correspond to the aggregate price and dividend performance of the securities in the S&P 500 Index. The S&P 500 Index Fund invests substantially all of its assets in securities listed in the S&P 500 Index, which is composed of approximately 500 leading U.S. publicly traded companies from a broad range of industries (mostly common stocks). It generally gives the same weight to a given stock as the S&P 500 Index does. In seeking to replicate the performance of the S&P 500 Index, the fund may also invest in American depositary receipts (ADRs), exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
