Summary
The investment seeks to maximize total return, consisting of capital appreciation and current income. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity and/or equity-related instruments of US companies. It will generally invest in equity securities of large and mid capitalization companies but is permitted to invest up to 15% of its net assets in small capitalization companies. In addition, up to 20% of the fund's net assets may be invested in securities of foreign companies in developed countries, including long and short positions in foreign equity securities and securities with equity-like characteristics.
