Summary

The investment seeks to provide long-term capital growth. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of large-capitalization U.S. companies whose market capitalizations are satisfying Standard & Poor's eligibility criteria for inclusion in the S&P 500 Index at the time of investment that are diversified among various industries and market sectors. Up to 20% of the fund's portfolio may consist of equity securities, consisting primarily of common stock, of mid-capitalization companies. It invests in U.S. dollar denominated sponsored American Depositary Receipts of foreign corporations.
