The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of large-capitalization companies. It considers a company to be a large-cap company if it has a market capitalization, at the time of purchase, of over $12 billion. The fund may also invest up to 15% of its total assets in equity securities of foreign issuers traded on foreign exchanges or in foreign currencies or through American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") and similar investments, such as European Depositary Receipts ("EDRs") and Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs").
