Summary
The investment seeks to provide capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in the common stocks of large companies that are traded on national security exchanges, the NASDAQ stock market and on the over-the-counter market. It normally invests at least 80% of its assets in large-cap companies. Up to 30% of the fund's net assets may be invested in foreign securities in both developed and emerging markets. The fund may invest in fixed-income securities, exchange-traded funds, American Depositary Receipts and use derivative contracts and/or hybrid instruments to implement elements of its investment strategy.
