Summary

The investment seeks capital appreciation. To pursue its objective, the fund invests principally in the equity securities of U.S. and foreign companies that the fund's portfolio managers believe demonstrate above-average, long-term growth potential in all market capitalization ranges. Under normal market conditions, it will invest at least 50% of its net assets in companies having a market capitalization range within the range of companies included in the Russell 1000® Index, a widely used benchmark for large-cap stock performance. The fund normally will invest the remainder of its assets in securities of mid-sized and small companies.
