The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation through investments in U.S. equity securities; current income is incidental. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of large capitalization U.S. companies the subadviser believes exhibit growth characteristics. It will invest at least 80% of its net assets in large-cap companies. The fund's managers generally consider a company to be a large-cap company if the company's capitalization is greater than $5 billion. It may invest up to 20% of the fund's assets in foreign securities (which may include up to 10% of the fund's assets in emerging market securities), including American Depositary Receipts.
