The investment seeks a favorable long-term total return, mainly through capital appreciation, primarily from equity securities of large domestic companies. The fund follows an enhanced index management strategy. Advisors actively uses quantitative analysis to attempt to enhance the fund's performance relative to the benchmark index, the Russell 1000® Growth Index, while retaining a similar risk profile, instead of passively holding a representative basket of securities designed to match the index. It invests at least 80% of assets in large-cap equity securities of issuers included in the index at the time of purchase, but not necessarily at index weightings.
