The investment seeks current income through regular payment of dividends with the secondary goal of achieving capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity securities. It invests primarily in common stock and real estate investment trusts (REITs). The fund will primarily use futures contracts to more effectively gain targeted equity exposure from its cash positions.
