The investment seeks total return, consisting of capital growth and income. The fund invests primarily in exchange traded funds ("ETFs"), other open-end mutual funds, and closed-end funds. It invests in a diversified portfolio of underlying funds. The fund invests primarily in equity underlying funds based on U.S. companies, indices and sectors, but may invest in underlying funds linked to foreign indexes; as well as underlying funds linked to fixed income indexes. As a hedging technique, it invests in ETFs that are inverse to the market (the value of the ETF goes up when the market or a certain sector goes down).
