Summary
The investment seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation with low volatility and low correlation to the equity market. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in securities of companies that are the focus of corporate events such as mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, spin-offs recapitalizations and other special situation investments. Its investments will primarily consist of long and short common stock and preferred stock equity positions, as well as call and put options on equity securities. The fund may invest in securities of companies of any market capitalization. It is non-diversified.
