The investment seeks to provide long-term growth of capital. The fund invests in the securities of publicly traded companies involved in mergers, takeovers, tender offers, leveraged buyouts, spin-offs, liquidations, or similar events (“corporate reorganizations”). It may invest in all types of fixed-income securities including convertible debt, options and futures, as well as privately negotiated options. The fund may invest up to 50% of net assets in short sales at any given time. It may invest in foreign securities. The fund may seek exposure to foreign securities by investing in Depositary Receipts. It is non-diversified.
