Summary

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation over market cycles with lower volatility than the broad equity market. To pursue its investment objective, the fund establishes long and short positions in equity securities issued by U.S. companies. Under normal circumstances it will invest at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities issued by U.S. companies; typically, the actual percentage will be higher.
