The investment seeks a high level of current income and total return. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in preferred securities. It intends to invest at least 25% of its assets in the preferred securities of companies principally engaged in financial services. The fund normally invests at least 60% of its net assets in securities rated investment grade (BBB/Baa or higher). It may invest up to 40% of its net assets in securities rated below investment grade (BB/Ba or lower). The fund may invest up to 35% of its net assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities issued by non-U.S. companies. It is non-diversified.
