The investment seeks to provide long-term absolute (positive) returns in all market environments from a broadly diversified portfolio of stocks while neutralizing the general risks associated with stock market investing. The fund purchases equity securities that the Sub-Adviser believes are undervalued and sells short securities that it believes are over-valued. It will take long and short positions selected from a universe of mid- to large-capitalization stocks with characteristics similar to those of the Russell 1000 Index. The fund intends to maintain approximately equal value exposure in its long and short positions.
