The investment seeks to produce capital appreciation while having a low correlation to the U.S. equity market, which the advisor defines as the S&P 500 Index. The fund will primarily invest in common stocks that are traded on U.S. exchanges. It will not be limited to selecting common stocks within a specific market capitalization, sector or style (e.g., growth vs. value). The fund expects that the average capitalization of the portfolio will be in the "Small" to "Mid" capitalization range. It may commit up to 25% of its net assets (including both long and short positions) in other registered investment companies ("RICs").
