The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets inequity securities of small-and mid-cap companies. It considers small- and mid-cap companies to be those companies with market capitalizations between $500 million and $10 billion. The equity securities in which the fund invests are primarily common stocks, but may also include shares of ETFs, REITs, royalty trusts, and master limited partnerships ("MLPs"). It generally invests in securities of domestic companies, but may also invest in equity securities of foreign companies and ADRs.
