The investment seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of companies organized in the United States that are engaged in a broad range of industries. It invests at least 80% of net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in securities issued by United States companies. The fund limits its investments in large capitalization companies to no more than 25% of net assets. It generally invests in companies that have attractive balance sheets and high internal rates of return.
