The investment seeks growth of capital over the long-term. The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets in the stocks of mid-cap companies whose market capitalizations at the time of purchase are between $500 million and $10 billion or fall within the market capitalization range of companies included in the Russell Midcap® Value Index. It typically invests most of its assets in equity securities of U.S. companies, but may gain exposure to non-U.S. issuers through the purchase of American Depositary Receipts. The fund may also invest a portion of assets in real estate investment trusts ("REITs").
