Summary

Victory Established Value is a steady performer.

As of May 03, 2013, the fund has assets totaling almost $1.66 billion invested in 77 different holdings. Its portfolio consists primarily of shares of midsized companies.

Earlier this year, management tweaked the fund's portfolio in several ways. For instance, they initiated positions in a number of new companies, including Raytheon, ConAgra Foods, and Questar Corporation. While the fund hasn't been immune to this year's market difficulties, neither has it been consumed by them. As of June 24, its year-to-date returns landed it in the top 13 percent of its Morningstar category. As of the end of the first quarter, nearly 6 percent of the fund's assets were tucked away in cash. That position, while not massive, is still a bit higher than many of the fund's peers. The fund has returned 15.26 percent over the past year and 11.58 percent over the past three years.

This fund's overall approach is fairly conservative. Management tends to spread assetsacross a large number of companies and sectors. Meanwhile, management tends to hold onto companies for the long haul, as evidenced by the fund's 49 percent turnover ratio. By comparison, a fund that replenished all of its assets once a year would have a ratio of 100 percent. Over time, the fund has put together some solid numbers. The fund has returned 7.94 percent over the past five years and 11.93 percent over the past decade.
