The fund invests primarily in fixed-income securities, primarily with short-term maturities, issued by governments and governmental agencies of developed countries, including the United States, as well as other countries with sound economic and financial systems. The dollar-weighted average maturity of its portfolio of debt securities will be less than 18 months. The fund will invest 70% or more of its portfolio in non-U.S. dollar-denominated investments and gold-related investments, which may be denominated in U.S. dollars. It is non-diversified.
