To pursue its objective, under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in instruments that provide investment exposure to the currencies of, and in fixed income instruments denominated in the currencies of, emerging markets at the time of purchase. Emerging markets include countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe. It also may invest up to 15% of its total assets in high yield debt securities. The fund is non-diversified.
