Summary
The investment seeks to provide a high level of current income that is exempt from federal income taxation and to preserve capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in investment grade municipal securities whose interest is free from federal income tax, including the federal alternative minimum tax. It may invest in debt securities of any maturity. Although the fund intends to invest the majority of its assets in tax free securities, it may invest up to 20% of its assets in securities that pay taxable interest.
